Kate Ahnstrom, professional associate instructor of the Paragon School of Sporting, doesn’t just show you how to break a clay bird, she custom crafts a shooting experience based around your goals. She has assisted countless students with quickly and consistently breaking clay, many who have never even touched a shotgun. She has shown them the incredible fun and excitement of the sport. Whether you are interested in shooting trap, skeet, sporting clays or hunting birds, Kate customizes each and every lesson to the individual student’s needs and goals. Competitive sporting clay shooters and hunters alike truly love that she doesn’t rely on gimmicks and gadgets, instead she teaches a process. A proven process that works every single day, every single shot, and every single time. She places a tremendous priority on safety and on the student’s comfort with each lesson plan.

Kate isn’t just enjoying a career in shooting instruction, it is her life’s passion. Kate is able to assist shooters all across Virginia and the mid-atlantic and is available for clinics and group instruction at any club or preserve.
From March through October she offers monthly ladies only practices, destination adventures, youth camps, corporate events, clinics and more.
During the hunt season, she offers several hunt options including her famed Introductory Upland Hunts at Orapax in Goochland. Ready to step up your hunt game? And when you are ready to truly set chase, book a hunt with her at Little George Rod & Gun. Fast flying pheasants and excellent, champion bird dogs set the pace for experienced guns.
